I like it.. but why do writers these days feel the need to write 'Hi my name is.. then pronouns'. Kinda ruins it for me but hopefully once you add more, not every character will say it
Trust me, a lot of people feel like you do, and you're not wrong. It's completely inorganic, and instantly takes any story down several notches.
